My wife Marisa and I (Richard, Rick, or Ricky Flo in the cornhole community), started Bags & Badges a little over a year ago. I have always loved playing the game and the sport itself has grown tremendously over the past year. We also love helping others, so we came up with the idea to accomplish both goals and Bags & Badges was born. Bags & Badges is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that hosts charity cornhole tournaments to raise money for first responders and military families in time of financial hardship. This may be due to a death in the family or any other catastrophic incident. We also host tournaments to assist other non-profit organizations with similar goals. Our goal at Bags & Badges is to continue hosting tournaments to support families in need and match funds raised by hosting tournaments utilizing donations from individuals and organizations. In doing this we can also enhance comradery and build better relationships within the first responder, military, and local communities.
